You get Aqara warranty coverage of up to 24 months, handled locally by us at the SG Official Service Centre — no need to send units back to China for service.

Global version, officially unlocked by Aqara for Singapore. As an authorised Aqara dealer, PassionHome.sg ships only the Global version of Aqara products. These pair with the Aqara Home app (not the Chinese Mijia app), bridge natively to Apple HomeKit, Google Home, Alexa and Matter, and receive Aqara's international firmware channel. Grey-market China-region Aqara units may technically work on Singapore mains (both regions run 230V / 50Hz) but are locked to the Mijia app and cut off from international firmware updates. Not what you want for a long-term smart home. Every unit we ship is the Global, SG-unlocked variant.

Yes — Aqara's H-series (H1 EU, H2) fits the standard 86mm Singapore backbox found in every HDB and condo switch plate. The real question for SG smart switches is the neutral wire. Neutral wire — the SG reality. Singapore light switch points do not have a neutral wire by default. The exception is heater switches (water heater / instant heater points), which traditionally do have neutral because they are high-load appliances on their own circuit. PassionHome's recommendation: pull a neutral wire and use the neutral-version switch. Ask your electrician to pull a neutral to the switch point — a small additional job during any renovation or rewire. Neutral-version Aqara switches are multiple times more stable than no-neutral variants: better LED compatibility, less flicker, more reliable relays, cleaner firmware behaviour. This is our house position, and it is the approach we recommend to every customer where practical. Fallback when pulling neutral is not practical (plastered walls that cannot be chased, landlord-owned unit, tight budget): use Aqara's H1 EU No-Neutral variant or a smart relay module wired behind the existing switch inside the ceiling/junction box. Both route around the missing neutral cleanly. Send us a photo of your switch plate and backbox and we will tell you exactly which SKU fits your layout.

Aqara smart locks ship with installation included. The lock SKU price covers supply + install via the Aqara distributor's appointed installer — applies to U-series, A-series, D-series and similar lock models. No separate booking, no padded service charge; once you order, the installer's team co-ordinates the install with you directly. For everything else in the Aqara range — switches, sensors, cameras, hubs, curtain motors, climate devices — physical installation is handled by your own contractor or main electrician. PassionHome.sg is an online retailer focused on selling products at the right price; we don't bundle installation services on non-lock SKUs. App setup is DIY. The Aqara Home app has step-by-step setup guides per product, including HomeKit / Google / Alexa / Matter bridging via the Aqara hub. If you genuinely need a hand on top of the Aqara guides, ask your PassionHome sales representative — but the default expectation is DIY.
