Yes — we are authorised for both the Yeelight consumer range and the Yeelight Pro commercial range. Every unit we ship comes through Yeelight's authorised SG supply chain. Yeelight consumer products are covered by a 24-month warranty at the Official Yeelight Service Centre in Singapore; Yeelight Pro products are covered by a 36-month warranty at the Official Yeelight Pro Service Centre. Both are handled locally — no need to send units abroad for service.

What version of Yeelight products does PassionHome.sg sell — Global or China?

Global / international version, SG-appropriate firmware. The Yeelight units we ship are configured for the international market — paired with the Xiaomi Home app (not the Mi Home Chinese build), with Matter, Apple HomeKit, Google Home and Amazon Alexa bridging on newer SKUs. Grey-market China-region units may technically work on SG mains (both regions run 230V / 50Hz) but are locked to the Chinese app ecosystem and do not receive international firmware updates — not what you want for a long-term smart home.

Does Yeelight work with Apple HomeKit, Google Home, Alexa and Matter?

Yes on all four — on newer SKUs. Most current Yeelight bulbs, strips and ceiling lights support Matter over Wi-Fi, which in turn bridges cleanly to Apple HomeKit, Google Home, Alexa and SmartThings. Older Yeelight models (pre-2022) are Wi-Fi with a proprietary cloud — they still work, but via the Xiaomi Home app rather than through Matter. If you want a specific model confirmed Matter-ready before buying, send us the SKU number and we will check.

Do I need the Xiaomi Home app, or does Yeelight have its own app?

For current Yeelight consumer products sold in Singapore, the Xiaomi Home app is the primary pairing route — it covers Yeelight + other Mi ecosystem gear in one dashboard. Older models supported a standalone "Yeelight" app which has been progressively folded into Xiaomi Home. On Matter-ready SKUs, you can bypass Xiaomi Home entirely and pair directly with Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa or any Matter controller. Yeelight Pro runs on its own dedicated commercial ecosystem with a separate app and configuration flow.

How does the estate group-buy work for Yeelight?

One estate rep collects interest from neighbours, we send a Yeelight bundle sheet with group-buy pricing (typically 15–25% off retail — often sharper on bundles), orders are collected over a 2–3 week window, then delivered to the estate in a single coordinated slot. Installation: Yeelight consumer products are designed for DIY — screw in a bulb, peel-and-stick a strip, plug in a lamp. No installation required, no electrician needed. For Yeelight Pro (wired switches, track lights, commercial lighting systems), your main contractor or electrician installs during renovation — those are wired products, not bulbs. App setup: we recommend customers DIY using the Xiaomi Home app — it is user-friendly and knowing the system pays off long-term. If you prefer us to handle the app setup (scenes, automations, HomeKit / Matter bridging), we can quote based on scope of work — paid, scoped service, not bundled by default.

Can I mix Yeelight with my existing Aqara setup?

Yes — this is a very common Singapore smart home architecture.
