At its heart the C1 is about feeding your pet on time, every time. Build a feeding plan in the Aqara Home app with set times and portion sizes, and the feeder dispenses precisely — or send an extra serving remotely whenever you like. Feeding statistics in grams let you see exactly how much your pet ate each day, which makes it easy to keep portions healthy. A built-in microphone records a short message that plays at feeding time to call your pet to the bowl.

Smart-home control through your Aqara hub

The C1 is a Zigbee 3.0 device, so it needs an Aqara Zigbee hub — such as the Aqara M2 Hub or the flagship Aqara Hub M3 — which provides its internet connection (the hubs support 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi and Ethernet). Important to know: the feeder is not a native Apple Home (HomeKit) or Amazon Alexa accessory. You control it in the Aqara Home app, and because Aqara Home scenes can be triggered by voice routines, you can still start a feed hands-free through Siri, Alexa or Google. IFTTT and Aqara Home automations are supported too — for example, with an Aqara Camera Hub G3, a feed can trigger the camera to turn to the feeder, record a clip and mark it on the timeline.

Powered by USB-A, with battery backup

The C1 is powered through a USB-A cord at 5 V / 1 A, so it plugs into any standard USB power source (the wall plug is not included). For peace of mind it also supports an optional D-type (LR20) battery backup — unlike many feeders, it stays connected even while running on batteries, so a power cut will not leave your pet unfed. The battery adapter and D-type batteries are sold separately.

Built for easy, hygienic feeding

The food-contact parts are all made from pet-safe materials and come apart for cleaning: the stainless-steel bowl, the plastic food tank and the rubber dispenser wheel all detach and rinse easily. The white body measures 193 x 193 x 312 mm — compact enough for a kitchen corner or utility area — and is designed for indoor use.
