Tunable white with Apple Adaptive Lighting

The T1 covers 2700K to 6500K, which is the full range most people use at home: warm for a bedside or living-room lamp, neutral for a dining table, cool for a study lamp. Through an Aqara hub it appears in Apple Home, where Adaptive Lighting shifts the colour temperature through the day without any automation on your part. In Aqara Home the same bulb supports transition settings — a slow fade on and off instead of a hard switch — and dynamic scenes that cycle brightness or colour temperature, including a gradual ten-minute sunrise to wake up to.

Aqara documents the CRI as Ra90, which keeps whites clean and skin tones and wood natural. This is a tunable-white bulb only; if you want colour, the sibling LED Bulb T2 is the one to pick.

Scenes, groups and voice

Several T1 bulbs can be grouped so a whole room dims together, or each addressed on its own. Typical automations from Aqara’s own list: turn the light off when a door sensor opens, turn it off when a motion sensor sees nothing for five minutes, or fade it up over ten minutes in the morning. A Wireless Knob Switch H1 on the bedside gives click on/off and rotate-to-dim without the phone.

Aqara lists HomeKit, Siri, Alexa and Google Assistant for the T1, all through the Aqara hub. Matter reach is delivered by the hub as well — the bulb itself has no Matter radio — so a Matter-capable hub such as the Hub M3 is what exposes it to other Matter controllers.

Installing the LED Bulb T1 in a Singapore home

Check the lamp holder first

The T1 is an E27 screw base rated 220–240 V, so it fits standard Singapore mains directly. Many older HDB ceiling fittings use a B22 bayonet holder rather than E27 — check the lamp before ordering, or use the bulb in a table or floor lamp, most of which are E27. Aqara rates it for indoor use at 0 to 40°C; it is not for sealed outdoor fittings.

Which hub do I need?

An Aqara hub is required — the bulb has no Wi-Fi of its own. Aqara’s page mentions 5 GHz Wi-Fi, WPA3 and Ethernet, but those describe the hub’s connection to your router, not the bulb. The Smart Hub M100 is the value pick, the Hub E1 is a USB stick for a small setup, and the Hub M3 adds Matter and Thread.
