The Aqara Smart LED Bulb T2 is a dual-protocol smart bulb in E27 and GU10 bases, tunable white or full colour — and it pairs directly with Apple Home, Google Home and Alexa over Matter, with no Aqara hub required. It supports Thread, Zigbee and Bluetooth, defaults to Thread for direct Matter pairing, renders colour beautifully at CRI Ra90, and screws straight into your existing fittings. Direct to Matter — no Aqara hub required

This is what sets the LED Bulb T2 apart from most smart bulbs. It is a true dual-protocol device — Thread, Zigbee and Bluetooth — and it ships in Thread mode, so it pairs straight into a Matter ecosystem out of the box. Add it to Apple Home, Google Home or Alexa with no Aqara hub at all; all you need is that ecosystem’s own Thread border router and Matter controller, such as an Apple HomePod or Apple TV, a Google Nest hub, or an Aqara Hub M100 or Aqara Hub M3 acting as the border router. Prefer Aqara’s own app? An Aqara hub is optional — needed only to run the bulb in Zigbee mode inside Aqara Home, or to add it into the Aqara Home app. Switching between Thread and Zigbee resets the bulb to factory settings, so you re-pair it afterwards.

Choose your base and your light

The T2 comes in two bases and two light types so you can match your fittings exactly. The E27 is the larger screw base for table and floor lamps and pendant fixtures; the GU10 is the smaller twist base for track lights and recessed downlights. Each base comes as a CCT (tunable white, 2700 K warm to 6500 K cool) or an RGB CCT version that adds 16 million colours and a wider 2000 K to 9000 K white range. Build dynamic scenes, set transition speeds, and tie the bulbs into automations that respond to motion sensors, door sensors, the time of day or your location.

Plug-and-play in your existing fittings

There is no wiring and no electrician. Turn off the power, screw the E27 (or twist the GU10) into your existing socket, switch the power back on, and the bulb fades in and out twice before entering pairing mode. It runs on universal 100 to 240 V mains, so it works straight away in Singapore homes — a low-friction way to make lamps and track lights smart. It also pairs especially well with Aqara smart switches, which keep power flowing to the bulb so its smart features keep working even when someone flips the wall switch.
