The Aqara Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1 is a tiny Zigbee sensor that tracks temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure — a mini weather station for your home. It reports readings to the Aqara Home app and can trigger automations: switch on a dehumidifier when humidity climbs, or the aircon when it gets warm. A single CR2032 coin cell lasts up to 2 years, and it pairs to a compatible Aqara Zigbee hub.

A mini weather station for every room

The T1 measures three things at once — temperature, relative humidity and atmospheric pressure — and reports them to the Aqara Home app, where you can see live values and historical trends. There is no screen on the device itself; a single button is used to check the hub connection and to pair or reset it. Set comfort thresholds and the T1 will push an alert when a room gets too humid or too warm, and you can build automations that respond automatically.

Requires an Aqara hub

The T1 is a Zigbee 3.0 child device — it does not connect to your phone directly and needs a compatible Aqara Zigbee hub. Through the hub it joins Aqara Home and, depending on the hub, reaches Apple Home, and other platforms; when bridged through a Matter-capable Aqara hub such as the Hub M3 it can expose its readings to Matter ecosystems. Does the Temperature and Humidity Sensor T1 have a display?

No. The T1 is a small button-only sensor — there is no screen on the device. It reports temperature, humidity and air-pressure readings to your Aqara hub, and you view them (with historical graphs) in the Aqara Home app.

Does it need an Aqara hub?

Yes. The T1 is a Zigbee 3.0 device and cannot connect to your phone directly — it pairs to a compatible Aqara Zigbee hub, which then brings it into the Aqara Home app and your wider smart home.

What does it measure?

Does it work with Apple Home, Alexa or Google?

Its readings reach those platforms through a compatible Aqara hub rather than the sensor connecting directly. Apple Home is supported via a HomeKit-capable Aqara hub; Alexa and Google availability depends on the hub you pair it with. It also exposes to Matter ecosystems when bridged through a Matter-capable Aqara hub such as the Hub M3.

How long does the battery last?

Up to about 2 years on the single CR2032 coin cell, which is user-replaceable. It is an indoor sensor — avoid rain, steam and metal surfaces for the best signal.
