The RG-ES209MG-P is the one to buy when the small switch has run out of ports. Eight 2.5 Gigabit copper ports, every single one of them PoE/PoE+, sharing a 130 W budget, with a 10G SFP+ uplink and 60 Gbps of switching capacity.
That is enough to power a full floor of Reyee wall access points, or a serious camera install, from one silent fanless box — and to see all of it in the same Ruijie Cloud dashboard as the gateway and the APs.

Where it fits
Specify the RG-ES209MG-P for a landed house, a shophouse, an office floor or any install with more than four powered devices. Below that, the RG-ES206MG-P is the cheaper answer. If you would rather have PoE inside the gateway itself, look at the RG-EG406XS-P.
Cloud management
Every device on this page is managed from the same place. Ruijie Cloud and the Ruijie Reyee App give you one dashboard for the router, the switches and every access point — add a device by scanning it, push firmware remotely, and see which client is eating your bandwidth. Ruijie states that basic Ruijie Cloud management is free for the lifetime of the product, with no per-device subscription.
Frequently asked questions
Can all eight ports draw PoE at once?
Within the 130 W shared budget, yes. Eight Reyee wall access points at 11–15 W each total roughly 90–120 W, so a full complement fits. Mixing in higher-draw devices such as PTZ cameras will use the budget faster — add up the actual draw of what you are powering.
What is the difference from the RG-ES206MG-P?
Ports and budget. The 209 has eight 2.5G PoE ports and a 130 W budget with 60 Gbps switching; the 206 has five 2.5G ports of which four are PoE, a 70 W budget and 45 Gbps switching. Both have one 10G SFP+ uplink, both are fanless metal, and both carry the same management feature set.
Does it support 802.3bt?
No. Ruijie specifies IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at only. Devices that require 802.3bt — some high-power PTZ cameras, large displays and multi-radio outdoor APs — will need a dedicated injector.
Can I rack mount it?
Ruijie lists wall and desk mounting for this model; rack mounting is not among the stated options. In a comms cupboard it wall-mounts cleanly, and it is fanless so it can go anywhere quiet.
Is the cloud management free?
Yes. Ruijie states that basic Ruijie Cloud management is free for the lifetime of the product on its cloud-managed devices, and this switch’s datasheet repeats it. There is no per-port or per-device subscription for the basic feature set.
