Ruijie Reyee RG-RAP62-Wall-Lite AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 Wall-Plate Access Point

$276.00

The slimmest way to put real Wi-Fi 6 in a bedroom — a square wall-plate access point with the same AX3000 radio as its bigger sibling, sitting less than 25 mm proud of the wall.

SKU: RG-RAP62-Wall-Lite Category:

Description

The RG-RAP62-Wall-Lite is the quiet one. Same AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 radio as the RG-RAP62-Wall — 2974 Mbps, four spatial streams, 160 MHz channels — in a square plate that sits only 24.8 mm proud of the wall, with another 13.2 mm hidden inside the junction box.

It exists for the rooms where you want the signal and nothing else: bedrooms, corridors, small meeting rooms, hotel-style layouts. No wired ports to feed, no bracket standing off the plaster, nothing to look at.

Why this one

  • The same radio as the full RAP62-Wall — AX3000, 2974 Mbps, 2 × 2 MU-MIMO per band, 160 MHz.
  • Genuinely flush. 86 × 86 mm square plate, 24.8 mm outside the wall.
  • One cable in, one port out. 1 × 1GE WAN (PoE In) and 1 × 1GE LAN — two Gigabit ports total.
  • Fits 86 mm and EU junction boxes.
  • Free lifetime Ruijie Cloud management alongside every other Reyee device on the site.
  • Roams and meshes — 802.11k/v/r, Layer 2 and Layer 3 roaming, Reyee AP Mesh.

Powering it

PoE only, from an 802.3af or 802.3at source — there is no adapter in the box and no DC socket on the unit. Because the Wall-Lite draws at most 11.2 W and passes no PoE onwards, an 802.3af port is sufficient. A RG-ES206MG-P will run several of them.

In the box

  • 1 × RG-RAP62-Wall-Lite access point
  • 2 × M4 × 40 mm and 2 × M3.5 × 30 mm machine screws
  • 2 × ST3 × 30 mm tapping screws
  • User manual and warranty card
  • Note: no mounting bracket is supplied with the Lite — it mounts directly to the junction box

Cloud management

Every device on this page is managed from the same place. Ruijie Cloud and the Ruijie Reyee App give you one dashboard for the router, the switches and every access point — add a device by scanning it, push firmware remotely, and see which client is eating your bandwidth. Ruijie states that basic Ruijie Cloud management is free for the lifetime of the product, with no per-device subscription.

Frequently asked questions

How is the Lite different from the standard RG-RAP62-Wall?

Identical radio, different body. The Lite has 2 Gigabit ports instead of 5, no PoE Out, 45 m² of rated coverage instead of 55 m², and it fits 86 mm and EU boxes only rather than 86 mm, EU and US. In exchange it is a flush 86 × 86 mm square that sits under 25 mm off the wall, and it costs less.

Does it need a power adapter?

No, and none is supplied. It is powered over Ethernet. An 802.3af port is enough — the Lite draws a maximum of 11.2 W and does not pass PoE on to anything else.

Can I still plug something in at the wall?

Yes, but only one thing. The Lite has one Gigabit LAN port alongside the PoE-In WAN port. If you need four wired sockets in that room, specify the standard RG-RAP62-Wall instead.

Is one enough for a whole flat?

Rarely. Ruijie rates it at 45 m² in an unobstructed environment, and Singapore flats have concrete walls between rooms. The Reyee approach is one small AP per zone rather than one big router in the living room — WhatsApp your floor plan to +65 9051 7063 and we will tell you how many we would use.

Does it work with the other Reyee gear on this page?

Yes. Every Reyee access point, switch and gateway we stock shares one Ruijie Cloud account and one Reyee app, and a Reyee gateway such as the RG-EG406XS can act as the controller for all of the access points.

Not sure how many units your layout needs? Send us your floor plan on WhatsApp at +65 9051 7063 and we will size the network with you before you buy. For office, retail and multi-unit deployments, our commercial line is +65 8787 5405.
