Ruijie Reyee RG-RAP62-Wall AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 Multi-Port Wall-Plate Access Point

$343.00

A Wi-Fi 6 wall-plate access point that fits a standard 86 mm junction box and brings four wired Gigabit ports to the wall, one of them carrying PoE for a phone or camera.

SKU: RG-RAP62-Wall Category:

Description

The RG-RAP62-Wall is the workhorse of the Reyee wall-plate range: an AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 access point that drops into a standard 86 mm junction box and turns that one point on the wall into both a Wi-Fi cell and a small wired switch.

It is the version to choose when the room needs sockets as well as signal — a study with a desktop and a printer, a bedroom with a TV box, a serviced apartment where the desk phone and the guest device both need a port.

Why this one

  • Five Gigabit ports in the wall plate — 1 × 1GE WAN uplink plus 4 × 1GE LAN.
  • PoE Out on LAN4 (10 W) for a desk phone, a doorbell or a small camera, when the AP is fed from an 802.3at source.
  • AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 — 2974 Mbps combined, 4 spatial streams, 160 MHz channels.
  • Fits 86 mm, EU and US junction boxes, so it retrofits into most Singapore wall boxes without new carpentry.
  • Free lifetime Ruijie Cloud management, with the Reyee app for day-to-day changes.
  • Roams and meshes — 802.11k/v/r, Layer 2 and Layer 3 roaming, Reyee AP Mesh.

Powering it

There is no power adapter for this model — it runs on PoE only. An 802.3af switch or injector powers the AP itself; you need 802.3at (PoE+) before LAN4 will pass its 10 W of PoE Out. A RG-ES206MG-P covers a couple of APs; the RG-ES209MG-P has the budget for a whole floor.

In the box

  • 1 × RG-RAP62-Wall access point
  • 1 × mounting bracket
  • 2 × M4 × 40 mm and 2 × M3.5 × 30 mm machine screws
  • 2 × ST3 × 30 mm tapping screws
  • 1 × security lock key
  • User manual and warranty card

Cloud management

Every device on this page is managed from the same place. Ruijie Cloud and the Ruijie Reyee App give you one dashboard for the router, the switches and every access point — add a device by scanning it, push firmware remotely, and see which client is eating your bandwidth. Ruijie states that basic Ruijie Cloud management is free for the lifetime of the product, with no per-device subscription.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the RG-RAP62-Wall and the RG-RAP62-Wall-Lite?

The radios are identical — both are AX3000, 2974 Mbps, 4 spatial streams, 160 MHz. The difference is at the wall. The RAP62-Wall has 5 Gigabit ports (1 WAN + 4 LAN) with PoE Out on LAN4, covers 55 m² and fits 86 mm, EU and US boxes. The Wall-Lite has 2 Gigabit ports, no PoE Out, covers 45 m² and fits 86 mm and EU boxes only. Choose the Wall if the room needs wired sockets; choose the Lite if you only need coverage.

Does it need a power adapter?

No, and none is supplied. The RG-RAP62-Wall is powered over Ethernet from an 802.3af or 802.3at source. Use 802.3at if you intend to use the PoE Out port on LAN4.

Will it fit my Singapore wall box?

Ruijie states compatibility with 86 mm, EU and US standard junction boxes, and the 86 mm box is the common Singapore type. The unit is 86 mm wide and 23.5 mm deep excluding the bracket. If you are retrofitting an existing data point, send us a photo on WhatsApp and we will check it with you.

Can I mesh several of them instead of running cable to each one?

Yes — Reyee AP Mesh is supported, along with 802.11k/v/r roaming so devices hand over cleanly between units. Cabled backhaul always performs better, but mesh is a legitimate fallback for the one room you cannot reach.

Does the cloud management cost anything?

Ruijie states that basic Ruijie Cloud management is free for the lifetime of the product on its cloud-managed devices, with no per-device subscription. Ruijie reserves the right to charge for advanced features in future.
