25-30s after there is no motion.

How long does it last before it requires charging?

About 120 days for the rechargeable version and battery replacement every 60 days or so for the non-rechargeable version. We highly recommend the rechargeable nightlight over the non-rechargeable version.

No, it can’t. It works independently.
