Description

The Yeelight Ultra-Slim, also sold as the Comet, is an ultra-thin smart ceiling light that pairs a tunable white main light with a colour RGB ambient backlight — and works with Apple HomeKit. The body is just 25 mm thin, and an IP54-rated insect-proof seal keeps dust and insects out. It connects directly over Wi-Fi with no hub, and a Quick-Change base locks the fixture in place. Choose from three sizes — 235C, 300C and 400C.

Tunable white main light plus RGB ambient backlight

The main light dials steplessly across 2700–6500 K with a high CRI of 95 at 4000 K that keeps tones natural. Behind it, a separate RGB ambient backlight casts a soft wash of colour around the fixture for mood lighting.

Sealed, insect-proof and bathroom-ready

With an IP54 rating and an airtight sealed design, the Ultra-Slim resists dust and prevents insects getting inside the fixture. Its water resistance also makes it suitable for humid spaces such as bathrooms and kitchens.

Three sizes, Quick-Change install

The Ultra-Slim comes in 235C (23.5 cm), 300C (30 cm) and 400C (40 cm). A Quick-Change base mounts to the ceiling first, then the light body locks into place.

The Ultra-Slim connects directly over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi with no gateway required, and uses Bluetooth for setup. It works with Apple HomeKit, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings — a strong choice for Apple Home households. The remote control is optional and not included.

Does the Ultra-Slim work with Apple HomeKit?

Yes. The Ultra-Slim, also sold as the Comet, supports Apple HomeKit alongside Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings, all over Wi-Fi with no hub. This is the main difference from the Yeelight Mercury, which does not support HomeKit.

Is the light full RGB?

The main light is tunable white from 2700 to 6500 K with a high CRI of 95. The RGB is a separate ambient backlight that casts a soft wash of colour around the fixture for mood lighting, rather than flooding the room in colour.

Can I use it in a bathroom or kitchen?

Yes. The Ultra-Slim carries an IP54 rating with an airtight sealed design, so it resists dust and humidity and is suitable for bathrooms and kitchens. The seal also keeps insects out.

Does it need a hub?

No. It connects directly over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi with Bluetooth for setup, controlled through the app, a wall switch or voice.
