The Aqara Panel Switch S100 is a touchscreen control panel that fits a standard 86 mm Singapore switch box and works as a wired three-gang smart switch, an Aqara Zigbee hub and an Apple Home control surface in one unit. Tap tiles for lights, scenes, curtains and climate on the colour screen, or use it like a normal switch for the three circuits wired behind it. A touchscreen switch that replaces the wall of buttons
The S100 puts a sensitive colour touchscreen where a three-gang rocker used to be. Tiles for individual devices and scenes are laid out in Aqara Home, with a choice of skins, templates and layouts; a light tile opens a circular slider for brightness, and the panel can also show the weather, time and device status when idle. Because it is wired to three lighting circuits, it still behaves like a physical switch for the room it is in — but the screen reaches every other room too.
What you can control from the screen
Aqara’s compatibility notes for the S100 list the Aqara Zigbee device types that can be laid out on the panel: lights, outlets, switches, air-conditioners (through an Aqara hub’s infrared control), window coverings such as the Smart Curtain Driver E1, cameras, thermostats, infrared devices, door locks, temperature and humidity sensors, TVOC sensors, buttons and floor heating. A typical Singapore living room might carry tiles for the downlights, cove light, curtain, aircon and a leaving home scene on one panel by the door.
Built-in Aqara Zigbee hub
Most touchscreen panels are just remote controls; the S100 is also a Zigbee hub. Aqara states that Aqara Zigbee devices can be added to Aqara Home through the S100 because it is already an Aqara Zigbee hub — so a Door and Window Sensor P2, Presence Sensor FP1E or H1 Wireless Switch can pair straight to the panel. For a one-room upgrade or a first Aqara purchase, that removes the separate-hub line from the shopping list.
Matter accessories on the screen
The S100 is not itself a Matter controller or a Thread border router. Aqara’s guidance is that Matter accessories (including Matter-over-Thread devices) are first added through a Matter controller such as the Aqara Hub M3 set up in Aqara Home, after which they can be configured on the S100 screen. If Matter and Thread devices are central to your plan, pair the S100 with a Hub M3.
Apple Home and Aqara Home
Aqara and the Singapore distributor both list Apple HomeKit support for the S100 — it appears in the Apple Home app and exposes wireless buttons to Apple Home for triggering HomeKit devices and scenes. The Aqara Home app is where layouts, skins, scenes and Zigbee pairing are managed. Aqara’s published compatibility for this panel is Apple Home and Aqara Home, with Matter devices reachable through a separate Matter controller as described above.
Installing the Panel Switch S100 in a Singapore home
Neutral wire required
The S100 is rated 220 V~ 50 Hz and needs a neutral wire at the switch box. Box and installation
At 86 × 86 × 43.7 mm the S100 fits a standard Singapore wall box with a deeper body than a plain rocker, so check the box depth before ordering. It is an electrical switch and must be installed by a licensed electrician; it is for indoor use at −10°C to 40°C. Panel Switch S100 or Touchscreen Dial V1?
Both are with-neutral 86 mm panels. The S100 is a rectangular touchscreen that switches three wired circuits and doubles as a Zigbee hub; the Touchscreen Dial V1 pairs a rotary dial with a small round screen for two circuits and connects over Wi-Fi with no hub role. Choose the S100 for whole-home scene control from one panel; choose the Dial where fine dimming and colour adjustment by hand matters most.
