Description

The Yeelight Arwen S Series is a tunable-white smart ceiling light with a separate 16-million-colour ambient backlight, for living rooms and bedrooms that want both clean everyday light and a layer of mood lighting. The main light dials across a 2700–6500K range with a high Ra≥90 colour-rendering rating, while the ambient backlight glows around the rim in any colour you choose. It connects over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with no hub required, installs with a Quick Change fixture, and — unlike the Arwen D Series — supports Apple HomeKit. Choose the 450S for medium rooms or the larger 550S for bigger spaces.

Tunable white plus a 16-million-colour ambient backlight

The main light shifts across 2700–6500K, from a warm glow to a bright daylight white, with a high Ra≥90 rating that keeps colours natural. Behind it, a separately controllable 16-million-colour ambient backlight washes the room in colour. The two run together or independently, and a moonlight mode drops to an ultra-low brightness for night-time.

Quick Change fixture and no-hub control

The Arwen S Series installs with a Quick Change fixture: once the base plate is mounted, the light body locks gently into place. It connects directly over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with no gateway required, controlled through the Yeelight app, a wall switch, voice, or a Bluetooth remote.

Supports Apple HomeKit

Apple HomeKit support is the Arwen S Series’ key advantage over the Arwen D Series. The S Series works with Apple HomeKit, Google and Amazon Alexa, so you can fold it into a HomeKit-based smart home.
