Description

The Yeelight Automatic Curtain Opener turns the curtains you already own into smart curtains — without replacing the track or rewiring anything. The motor clamps onto your existing curtain track or rod and pulls the curtain open and closed for you, on a schedule, by app, by voice, or with the bundled remote. It runs on a built-in rechargeable battery, so there is no need for a nearby power point at the window.

Choosing the right version: Track or Rod

This opener comes in two physically different versions, and they are not interchangeable. The Track version fits I-shaped and C-shaped sliding curtain tracks — the recessed rails curtains hang from on hooks. The Rod version fits round telescopic curtain rods 16–40 mm in diameter (circular cross-section only). If your curtains slide along a recessed track, choose Track; if they hang from a visible round pole, choose Rod.

Single set or double set

A single set includes one motor and drives a curtain that draws to one side. A double set includes a pair of motors for centre-open curtains, where two panels part in the middle and meet again when closing. Every set ships with its own Hub and Remote, so a single set is ready to use on its own.

Performance and battery

The opener handles curtains weighing up to 20 kg and moves at about 7 cm per second, with a rated torque of around 0.2 N·m. Power comes from a removable, rechargeable battery that charges over USB Type-C — a full charge takes roughly six hours and lasts months of everyday use between top-ups.

Works with your smart home

Each set includes a Hub and Remote that bridges the motor to your home network. The motor talks to the Hub over Bluetooth and Zigbee, and the Hub connects to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and the Mi Home app — so this is a hub-included system, not a standalone Wi-Fi motor. You can then control your curtains in the Mi Home app, with Google Home, with Amazon Alexa, or through a Siri Shortcut. There is no native Apple HomeKit, SmartThings or Matter support.

Installation and Singapore warranty

The opener clamps onto your existing track or rod, calibrates the curtain travel automatically, and includes an anti-fall bracket for added security. The Hub and Remote needs a user-supplied USB power adapter to stay powered. Every unit sold by PassionHome is covered by a 24-month local warranty in Singapore.
