Description
The Yeelight LED Sensor Drawer Light is a small, rechargeable light for drawers, cabinets and wardrobes. A built-in proximity sensor switches it on automatically the moment the drawer is opened or your hand approaches, and off again when the drawer is closed. It is a simple, self-contained light — no wiring, no app and no smart-home setup.
Automatic proximity sensing
The light uses a short-range proximity sensor, not a room motion detector. It turns on the instant the space directly above the sensor is clear — which is exactly when a drawer slides open — and off when the drawer closes. A button cycles between AUTO, ON and OFF.
Warm, easy light
It casts a soft 2700K warm white light, gentle on the eyes for cupboards and wardrobes. The compact body measures just 68 × 26 × 11 mm, so it tucks neatly inside a drawer.
Rechargeable, no wiring
An internal rechargeable battery means no replaceable cells and no wiring. Top it up over USB-C — a full charge takes about an hour.
Stick-on magnetic mount
The light fixes with a magnet, or with an included adhesive plate for non-metal surfaces. No drilling, and it lifts off easily to recharge.

Is this a smart light?
No. It is non-smart with no Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth, no app and no voice control. The automatic on and off behaviour is handled by the on-board proximity sensor.
How does it turn on and off by itself?
It uses a short-range proximity sensor. When the space above the sensor is clear, which is what happens when a drawer is opened, the light turns on; when the drawer closes, it turns off. A button also switches between AUTO, ON and OFF.
