The included installation hardware covers most situations — mounting plate screw kit (M3 × 8 mm), bolt and strike plate screw kit (M4 × 25 mm), and opposite-pull screw kit (M6 × 55 mm) for thick doors. Doors with non-standard preparation (e.g. existing mortise where you want to switch to deadbolt format) may need additional adjustment — our SG installation team will assess on site and let you know before any work begins. How you unlock

Five everyday unlock methods, plus a mechanical key for emergencies:

• PIN passcode — 6 to 10 digits, with anti-peek buffer letting you pad your real code with random digits. The lock supports up to 75 distinct PINs at once — assign a unique one to each family member, helper, contractor, or guest.
• Aqara Home app — Bluetooth nearby or remote via Wi-Fi. Lock/unlock from your phone whether you’re at the door or thousands of kilometres away.
• Voice — “Alexa, lock the front door” or “Hey Google, lock the front door.” (Voice unlock requires a preset PIN as confirmation per Aqara’s security policy.)
• Mechanical key — 2 emergency keys included. Keep one outside the home (riser, neighbour) for the rare case where everything else is unavailable.
• One-time / scheduled passwords — issue a time-limited code to a cleaner, contractor, or short-term guest. Set a one-time code (single use), a recurring window (e.g. every Monday 10am–2pm), or a one-off valid for 20 minutes. Up to 8 one-time codes can be generated per hour.
