The cameras, one by one
Camera G100 — S$89 budget all-rounder
The Camera G100 is the entry point and the only budget Aqara camera with an IP65 weather rating, so it can go on a covered HDB corridor, condo balcony or gate. It shoots 2K through a fixed 140° lens with both IR and colour-spotlight night vision (f/1.8), runs on Wi-Fi 6 (2.4 GHz), and supports microSD plus RTSP for your own NVR. Local person detection is free; pets, vehicles, packages and faces need a HomeGuardian plan. It is not a hub.
Camera E1 — S$129 budget indoor pan-tilt
The Camera E1 is the cheapest Aqara camera with a motorised pan-and-tilt head — it sweeps a full 360° and tracks movement, so one camera can watch a whole room. It shoots 2K (2304×1296) through a 101° f/2.0 lens with 940nm IR night vision, runs on-device person detection (no subscription), and stores to microSD up to 512 GB, SMB3 NAS, Apple HomeKit Secure Video, plus 24 hours of free cloud. It works with Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa and Aqara Home — but note it is a Wi-Fi camera, not a Zigbee hub, and it is indoor-only. It’s the budget pick when you want pan-tilt coverage and don’t need a hub.
Camera Hub G2H Pro — S$139 budget indoor camera + hub
The Camera Hub G2H Pro pairs a fixed 1080p camera with a built-in Zigbee 3.0 hub for up to 128 Aqara devices — handy if you want a cheap indoor camera that can also run your Aqara sensors. It has 940nm IR night vision, two-way audio, microSD up to 512 GB plus NAS, and works with Apple HomeKit Secure Video (where its facial recognition runs on your Apple device), Google Home and Alexa. It is indoor-only, fixed (no pan-tilt), and has no Matter or Thread.
Camera Hub G3 — S$239 pan-tilt camera + hub + IR blaster
The Camera Hub G3 is three devices in one: a 2K motorised pan-tilt camera (340° pan, 45° tilt, 110° lens), a Zigbee 3.0 hub for up to 128 Aqara devices, and an omnidirectional IR blaster — making it the only camera in the range that can also control your aircon, TV and fan remotes. Local AI recognises faces, gestures and pets. It is indoor-only on Wi-Fi 5, with microSD up to 128 GB. For a deeper look at the G3 against the G350, see our G3 vs G350 guide.
Camera Hub G350 — S$299 best indoor video + Matter hub
The Camera Hub G350 is the premium indoor camera: a dual-lens design (4K wide-angle + 2.5K telephoto) with 9× hybrid zoom and full 360° pan-tilt, plus the most capable hub of the cameras — a Matter Controller, Thread Border Router and Zigbee hub. Aqara markets it as the world’s first Matter-certified camera (the Matter camera profile currently surfaces on Samsung SmartThings). Local AI covers person, pet, face, gesture and six sound types. Indoor-only, Wi-Fi 6, microSD up to 512 GB plus NAS.
Camera G5 Pro Hub — S$399 outdoor flagship + Matter hub
The Camera G5 Pro Hub is Aqara’s outdoor flagship — IP65-rated, with a graphene-cooled sensor and an f/1.0 aperture for True Color Night Vision, a 3W dimmable spotlight and a PIR sensor. It runs on PoE or Wi-Fi, stores footage on 32 GB of encrypted eMMC (with NAS and RTSP), and doubles as a Matter Controller, Thread Border Router and Zigbee hub. On-device 7-in-1 visual AI and 4-in-1 audio AI run locally. It is the camera to choose for a driveway, gate or landed-property perimeter.
The video doorbells (G400 and G410)
Aqara’s two wired video doorbells are a category of their own. The Doorbell Camera G400 (S$249) is a focused 2K doorbell with a tall 3:4 head-to-toe view, PoE option and a published IP65 rating — but it is not a hub. The Doorbell Camera Hub G410 (S$309) is also a doorbell but doubles as a Matter / Thread / Zigbee hub, runs on battery or wiring, and uses an mmWave radar with on-device face recognition.
| Feature | G400 (S$249) | G410 (S$309) |
|---|---|---|
| Type | 2K video doorbell | Doorbell + smart-home hub |
| Smart-home hub | No | Matter + Thread + Zigbee |
| Power | Wired — PoE or 8–24V | Wired (12–24V) or 6×AA battery |
| View | 165°, 3:4 head-to-toe | 175°, 4:3 |
| Detection | Local AI (motion/person/zone) | mmWave radar + on-device face recognition |
| Weather | IP65 (published) | No published IP rating |

Which Aqara cameras double as a smart-home hub?
This is the most useful way to narrow the choice. If you want one device to also run your Aqara sensors, switches and locks, pick a camera with a hub built in:
- Matter / Thread / Zigbee hubs: Camera Hub G350, Camera G5 Pro Hub, and the Doorbell Camera Hub G410 — these are Matter Controllers and Thread Border Routers, and bridge your Aqara Zigbee devices to Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa and SmartThings.
- Zigbee-only hubs: Camera Hub G2H Pro and Camera Hub G3 — they run up to 128 Aqara Zigbee devices but have no Thread or Matter (the G3 adds an IR blaster for aircon control).
- Cameras only (no hub): Camera G100, Camera E1 and Doorbell Camera G400 — great cameras, but you’ll need a separate hub for Aqara devices.
If you only need a hub (no camera), a dedicated Aqara Hub M200 or M3 may be the better value.
Buying in Singapore
Indoor versus outdoor is the rule that catches most buyers: only the Camera G100 and Camera G5 Pro Hub carry a published IP65 rating; the G2H Pro, G3 and G350 are indoor-only and should stay dry (an enclosed, sheltered balcony at most). Every camera and doorbell here is sold by PassionHome as an Authorised Aqara Dealer with the 24-month manufacturer warranty serviced by the Aqara Service Center, and all connect to common Singtel, StarHub and M1 home Wi-Fi. Frequently asked questions
Which Aqara camera is best for outdoors in Singapore?
Two cameras carry a published IP65 weather rating: the Camera G5 Pro Hub (the outdoor flagship, with PoE and True Color Night Vision) and the budget Camera G100. The E1, G2H Pro, G3 and G350 are indoor-only and should not be exposed to rain. The video doorbells differ too — the G400 has a published IP65 rating while the G410 has none published (a weatherproof case is recommended for exposed installs).
Which Aqara cameras double as a smart-home hub?
The Camera Hub G350, Camera G5 Pro Hub and Doorbell Camera Hub G410 are full Matter Controllers, Thread Border Routers and Zigbee hubs. The Camera Hub G2H Pro and Camera Hub G3 are Zigbee 3.0 hubs only (no Thread or Matter). The Camera G100, Camera E1 and Doorbell Camera G400 are cameras only — you’ll need a separate hub for Aqara Zigbee devices.
Which Aqara camera can control my air-conditioner?
Among the cameras, only the Camera Hub G3 has a built-in 360° IR blaster, so it can control your aircon, TV and fan remotes by voice or automation. The other cameras have no IR. If aircon control is your main goal, the G3 or a dedicated IR hub like the M2 or M200 is the way to go.
Which Aqara camera has the best video quality?
For indoors, the Camera Hub G350 leads with a dual-lens 4K wide-angle plus 2.5K telephoto and 9× hybrid zoom. For outdoors, the Camera G5 Pro Hub shoots 2.6K with an f/1.0 aperture and True Color Night Vision built for low light. The G3, G100 and G400 are 2K; the G2H Pro is 1080p.
Do Aqara cameras need a subscription?
No for local use. All of these record to local storage (microSD, or eMMC on the G5 Pro) and run their core detection on-device with no subscription. An optional HomeGuardian plan (free trial included) adds cloud AI and cloud storage, and Apple HomeKit Secure Video offers encrypted iCloud recording separately.
Do they all work with Apple Home?
Yes — every camera and doorbell here works with Apple HomeKit Secure Video (resolution is capped at 1080p–1200p within Apple Home depending on the model, and an iCloud+ plan plus an Apple home hub are required). They also work with Google Home and Alexa; the G350, G5 Pro and G100 add SmartThings, and the G350 is Aqara’s Matter-certified camera.
Should I get a camera or a video doorbell?
They solve different jobs. A doorbell (G400 or G410) is purpose-built for your front door — visitor calls, package detection and two-way audio at the entrance. A camera (G100/G2H Pro/G3/G350/G5 Pro) covers a room, corridor or outdoor area. Many homes use both. See our G410 vs G400 guide for the doorbell decision.
Is there a local warranty?
Yes. Every Aqara camera and doorbell sold by PassionHome carries a 24-month manufacturer warranty serviced by the Aqara Service Center. PassionHome is an Authorised Aqara Dealer — WhatsApp +65 9051 7063 for help choosing.
The verdict
For most Singapore homes: the Camera G100 is the budget weatherproof pick; the Camera Hub G3 is the best all-rounder indoors (camera + hub + aircon control); the Camera Hub G350 is the premium indoor camera with the best video and a Matter hub; and the Camera G5 Pro Hub is the outdoor flagship. For the front door, choose between the Doorbell Camera G400 and the Doorbell Camera Hub G410.
