Ruijie Reyee RG-ES206MG-P 5-Port 2.5G Cloud Managed PoE Switch with 10G SFP+
$371.00
A fanless metal PoE switch with five 2.5G ports and a 10G SFP+ uplink, giving four powered devices a 70 W budget and a place in the same cloud dashboard as the rest of the network.
Description
The RG-ES206MG-P is the small switch that finishes a Reyee install. Five 2.5 Gigabit copper ports, four of them supplying PoE/PoE+ from a 70 W budget, and a 10G SFP+ uplink so the switch itself is never the bottleneck.
It is fanless, housed in metal, and it appears in the same Ruijie Cloud dashboard as your gateway and access points — so you can see which port is drawing power and reboot a stuck camera without standing in the riser.
Why this one
- 2.5G on every copper port, which matters when the access point above it has a 2.5G uplink.
- Four PoE/PoE+ ports, 70 W budget (IEEE 802.3af/at) — enough for four Reyee wall access points, or a mix of APs and cameras.
- 10G SFP+ uplink back to the gateway or the core switch.
- PoE watchdog. If a powered device stops responding to pings, the switch cycles its port and brings it back — the feature that stops you driving out to reboot a camera.
- Cloud managed, but not complicated. Ruijie Cloud, the Reyee app, a local web UI, 802.1Q VLANs, loop guard and port isolation.
- Fanless metal body, wall or desk mount, 45 Gbps switching capacity.

Where it fits
One RG-ES206MG-P powers a small flat’s worth of access points, or the camera cluster at one end of a house. Once you are past four powered devices, move up to the RG-ES209MG-P, which gives you eight PoE ports and a 130 W budget for a small increase in price.
Cloud management
Every device on this page is managed from the same place. Ruijie Cloud and the Ruijie Reyee App give you one dashboard for the router, the switches and every access point — add a device by scanning it, push firmware remotely, and see which client is eating your bandwidth. Ruijie states that basic Ruijie Cloud management is free for the lifetime of the product, with no per-device subscription.
Frequently asked questions
Is it a 4-port or a 5-port switch?
Both descriptions are floating around. Ruijie’s official name is 5-Port — there are five 2.5G copper ports in total, of which four supply PoE, plus one 10G SFP+ uplink cage. Suppliers sometimes list it as 4-port because they are counting only the PoE ports.
What is the PoE watchdog for?
It solves the classic CCTV problem. If a powered device — usually a camera — locks up and stops replying to the switch’s pings, the switch power-cycles that port automatically and the device reboots. No site visit, no ladder.
Can it power Reyee wall access points?
Yes. The four PoE ports supply IEEE 802.3af/at within a 70 W total budget. Reyee wall access points draw between 11 W and 15 W each, so four of them fit comfortably. Note that the AP’s own PoE Out feature needs an 802.3at source, which this switch provides.
Is it silent?
Yes. It is fanless with natural cooling, in a metal case, and draws 5.5 W with nothing powered. Ruijie publishes no noise figure because there is no fan to measure.
Does it do LACP or QoS?
It supports static link aggregation of up to four ports, but not LACP. Ruijie’s datasheet also lists 802.1p and DSCP priority classification as not supported on this model. If you need those, you want a Reyee NBS-series managed switch instead — message us and we will source one.
